Turkey’s Residential Property Price Index change reaches 29.2 percent yoy

As per the data released by the central bank, Turkey’s Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) increased monthly by 2.7 percent in June 2021, hence recorded an annual increase of 29.2 percent.  While the yoy peak seems to have been reached in April, the current level of the price increase is still very much elevated. 

In June 2021, the RPPI increased monthly by 2.3, 2.0 and 3.4 percent in İstanbul, Ankara and İzmir respectively.

İstanbul, Ankara and İzmir recorded an annual increase of 26.4, 25.7 and 29.9 percent respectively.
