The claim that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will meet with Central Bank Governor Hafize Gaye Erkan in his program tomorrow due to the controversy surrounding the Governor was denied by the Presidential Communications Directorate.
In a statement made on the social media account of the Center for Combating Disinformation of the Presidential Communications Directorate, it was stated that the news that “President Erdoğan and Central Bank Governor Erkan will meet tomorrow at the latest” is not true and stated the following:
“Our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan does not have any meeting with Central Bank Governor Hafize Gaye Erkan in his schedule tomorrow. Do not rely on unfounded allegations.”
