The entire world has held its collective breath, watching the unfolding of the American elections. Each country has a different stake in the outcome. Turkey and the US have a number of issues that need to be resolved during the term of the new president. While a future with Harris is not necessarily a disaster for Turkey, Trump promises more upside. Yet, in either case, Erdogan will need to change his rhetoric to benefit from the changing of the guard.
