Borsa İstanbul’s Top Stock Picks Revealed: Meditera, Alfa Solar, and Sabancı Lead in Q1 2025 Upside Potential

Following the release of Q1 2025 earnings reports, a comprehensive review of research by 33 Turkish brokerages and banks has identified the top Borsa Istanbul stocks with the highest return potential over the next 12 months. The analysis, compiled by ForInvestHaber from institutional strategy reports and target price forecasts issued after April 21, reveals that Meditera Tıbbi Malzeme leads the list with a projected upside of 118.86%.

Meditera Tops with Triple-Digit Return Forecast

Based on an average target price of TL 163.95 from two financial institutions, Meditera Medical Supplies offers the highest upside among 84 stocks that received at least two price targets. The company, known for its medical device production, is now seen as a strong candidate for long-term growth.

Top 5 BIST Stocks by Return Potential

Ranked by their projected return percentages, the top five Borsa Istanbul stocks are:

  1. Meditera Tıbbi Malzeme – 118.86% return potential

  2. Alfa Solar – 104.56%

  3. Vestel Beyaz Eşya – 94.27%

  4. Sabancı Holding – 93.61%

  5. Astor Enerji – 90.01%

These firms span diverse sectors, from medical supplies and solar energy to white goods and holding conglomerates.

Among Heavily Covered Stocks, Sabancı Takes the Crown

When filtered to include only stocks covered by at least five institutions, Sabancı Holding tops the list with a return forecast of 93.61%. Other top-ranked names in this group include:

  • Mavi Giyim – 84.71%

  • Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik – 82.45%

  • TAV Havalimanları – 74.24%

  • TAB Gıda – 72.38%

These findings point to growing investor confidence in consumer goods, insurance, aviation, and food service sectors, amid a shifting macroeconomic landscape in Türkiye.
