Union: Shopping malls are teeming with coronavirus

Case news from shopping malls are escalating

Haydar Özdemiroğlu, the head of the Tez-Koopİş Union, stated that the number of cases from the shopping malls  are falling in like heavy rain. Haydar Özdemiroğlu, Chairman of TezKoop-İş Union, organized in shopping malls, pointed out that the number of cases has started to increase.

Özdemiroğlu pointed out that the critical date is June 15 in his statement to Cumhuriyet Newspaper on June 6, “However, the necessary measures were not taken. Case news, just like heavy rain, are coming from shopping malls in various cities. Precautions should be taken immediately. ”

Özdemiroğlu said that they received new case news from the shopping malls and big stores in Istanbul, Ankara, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Bursa, Eskişehir, Mardin, Diyarbakır and Bodrum. Özdemiroğlu stated that it is clearly proved how dangerous the opening of shopping malls is, and continued: “Our union receives information due to the coronavirus case. In this process, as there are some stores that are temporarily closed, many employees are also rotated. Unfortunately, the rightness of our union, which stated that the opening of the shopping malls on 1 June was an early decision, has been revealed. It should not be forgotten that the coronavirus figures announced at the time when the shopping malls were decided to be closed were far below the figures announced today. ”

Özdemiroğlu said, “With the closure of the shopping malls, all employees should be deemed on paid leave, and all their rights should be fully and fully paid without interrupting their economic and social rights. Covid-19 should be considered as an occupational disease.”

We may go back to dark days of the outbreak

Coronavirus Scientific Committee of the Ministry of Health, Professor Dr. Tevfik Özlü, who made statements in a live broadcast about the increase in the number of cases for two days said, “Today’s figures are now alarming us. Be careful, we can go back to the old, restrictions may come again, bans may come, everything can go back. We need to take this seriously. Yesterday’s warning has become more evident today. Now we’re on the yellow alert.”
