New poll by ORC finds opposition leading AKP-MHP by 6 points

Surveying agency ORC’s second November parliamentary poll  stated that the representatives of the Nation Alliance, CHP and IYI Party, have 42 percent of the vote, while the other members of the Six Tables, the Future Party, and the DEVA Party, have a support rate of 2.3 percent. Thus, according to the research, the vote rate of Six Tables (the broader, six party alliance in the process of forging a coalition against AKP-MHP)  was 47 percent.

The news is  not good for the governing alliance, People’s Alliance. One of the representatives of the People’s Alliance, the nationalist MHP’s vote rate was below the election threshold of 7 percent. According to the research, MHP’s only scored 6.8 percent.

After soaring through the summer, in some polls such as Metropoll up to 38%, ORC survey finds AKP giving back most of its gain to slump to 31%.  In 2022, AKP’s support troughed at 30% in January.

The votes of the other parties are as follows:

AKP 31.1 percent

MHP 6.8 percent

CHP 24.2 percent

IYI Party 17.8 percent

Future Party 2.7 percent

DEVA 2.3 percent

TDP 2.0 percent

The Welfare Party 1.5 percent

HDP 7.4 percent

BTP 1.5 percent

BBP 1.3 percent

Other 1.4 percent

ORC reported its results after distributing undecideds according to raw votes of the contesting parties.

As of 15 November, PA Turkey’s poll-of-polls table revealed the following results (Latest ORC  poll not yet included).
