‘Maturity limit’ on consumer loans

The Banking Regulatory and Supervisory Board (BRSA) announced that it has decided to reduce the overall maturity limit for consumer loans from 36 months to 24 months for loans over TL 50,000.

It was also decided that the loans in this scope, which were used before September 16th, could be restructured, limited to a maximum of 36 months, if requested by the borrower even if their debt balances were over TL 50,000.
