Kilicdaroglu unveils “100-day action plan”

Main opposition party CHP prepared a brochure explaining what the Presidential candidate of the Nation Alliance and its chairperson, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, will do in the first 100 days. The brochure, bearing  the slogan ” My Word To You” by Kilicdaroglu,  emphasizes that  waste in public spending will end. “Preventing waste will start from the Palace. The Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye will be moved to the Çankaya Mansion (its old seat), swore Kilicdaroglu. “The President doesn’t  need 16  official planes,” it said.

In the brochure, which announced that the discretionary interviews  in civil service hires, a major complaint about favoritism will also be ceased in the first 100 days, “When recruiting public employees, cronyism will end, the interview will be abolished. The era of AKP peer-friend-relative hires will end. Ambassadors and bureaucrats who receive bribes will be dismissed quickly. The era of multiple salaries (for top level bureaucrats, who also serve as Erdogan’s advisors) will end. CHP and other opposition parties claimed that these “pet civil servants” receive salaries from 4 or  5 different appointments, as members of Boards of Directors of state-owned enterprises, or those managed by Turkish Deposit Insurance Fund.

In the brochure, which also includes the Tank-Pallet Factory, a factory which produces spares for Turkish military, it says, “The Tank-Pallet Factory in Sakarya, which was donated to the Qatari army, will be taken back and returned to our glorious army. The aid collected for the relatives of our martyrs and veterans will be delivered to the rightful owners. The tomb of Suleyman Shah will be brought back to its first place.

RED CRESCENET WILL BE RESTORED TO ITS REPUTATION

In the brochure, which also referred to the earthquakes in Kahramanmaras, it was announced that the Ministry of Urban Planning and Disaster Management would be established and “We will restructure the Red Crescent in accordance with the founding philosophy of the Republic”.

Permanent daylight-saving time will also be terminated, and the brochure states, “Those who have been dismissed from the public jobs by a statutory decree, but for whom no judicial process has been carried out, who have been dismissed in investigations, or who have been acquitted, will be returned to their posts”.  This is reference to up to 200K academicians, medical staff and civil servants who had been sacked on accusations of being a member of the Gulenist Terror Organization without a court conviction.

It was stated in the brochure that led by Istanbul-based GATA military hospitals will also reopen.
