CBRT Reserves Reach Historic High

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) has announced its latest weekly reserves, revealing a new record high of $167.56 billion, an increase of $4.26 billion from the previous week.

 

Breakdown of CBRT Reserves:

  • Total Reserves: Increased from $163.3 billion to $167.56 billion, marking an all-time high.
  • Gold Reserves: Rose from $66.51 billion to $68.23 billion.
  • Foreign Exchange Reserves: Climbed from $96.79 billion to $99.33 billion.

The significant rise in reserves highlights the CBRT’s efforts to bolster financial stability, amid ongoing economic policy adjustments and fluctuations in exchange rates.
