Arçelik Appoints Cemal Can Dinçer as New CEO

Arçelik

Arçelik has announced a significant leadership transition, confirming that Cemal Can Dinçer will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer following the departure of Hakan Hamdi Bulgurlu, the current CEO.

According to a disclosure filed with the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Bulgurlu—who has served as CEO since 2015—will step down at his own request as of the date of the company’s ordinary general assembly meeting, where the 2025 operational results will be reviewed.

The company stated: “Considering that Mr. Hakan Hamdi Bulgurlu, who has been serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Arçelik A.Ş. since 2015, will leave his position at his own request effective as of the date of the ordinary general assembly meeting where our Company’s 2025 activities will be discussed, it has been resolved that Mr. Cemal Can Dinçer, currently serving as Deputy General Manager (Commercial – Turkey and South Asia), be appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Arçelik A.Ş., effective as of the same date.”

A Decade of Leadership Comes to a Close

Hakan Hamdi Bulgurlu has led Arçelik for nearly a decade, overseeing a period marked by international expansion, brand transformation, and strategic investments. Under his leadership, the company strengthened its global footprint and deepened its presence across Europe, Asia, and emerging markets.

The transition signals continuity rather than disruption, as Cemal Can Dinçer has been part of Arçelik’s senior management team and has played a central role in overseeing commercial operations across Turkey and South Asia—two strategically important markets for the company.
