TMO Sets 2025 Grain Purchase Prices: Wheat at 13,500 TL Per Ton, Plus 2,520 TL in Government Support

Türkiye’s TMO Announces 2025 Grain Prices Amid Early Harvest Season
Türkiye’s Soil Products Office (TMO) has officially declared the 2025 purchase prices for wheat and barley, just as the national harvest reaches around 2% completion.
In a statement released on June 28, TMO pegged the base price per ton as follows:

13,500 TL for durum (makarnalık) wheat

13,500 TL for bread (ekmeklik) wheat

11,000 TL for barley
TMO began accepting deliveries of registered wheat and barley from farmers on May 12, under a pledge system tied to their Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) entries. More than 600 procurement points have been established across the country to facilitate these operations.
Support Payments to Push Farmer Income Above 16,000 TL Per Ton
In addition to base purchase prices, the Ministry of Agriculture will offer a combined support payment of 2,520 TL per ton, broken down as:

Planned Production Support (for those adhering to crop plans)

Certified Seed Use Bonus
With these additional supports, total income per ton for farmers will rise to:

16,020 TL for wheat (both durum and bread types)

Payments Within 30 Days
TMO confirmed that product payments will be deposited to farmers’ bank accounts within 30 days of delivery.
The agency reaffirmed that it is closely monitoring harvest progress and market dynamics and emphasized its commitment to supporting producers through both fair pricing and reliable payment mechanisms.
