New Polls: CHP Leads, 24% Participated in the Boycott

First Poll of May Released: Which Party is in the Lead?
ALF Research has released the results of its latest election poll conducted between May 1–4, 2025. According to the poll results, the CHP maintains its top position, while AKP support continues to decline.
The political shockwaves triggered by the annulment of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu’s diploma and his subsequent arrest remain at the forefront of the public agenda.
Meanwhile, opposition parties, especially the Republican People’s Party (CHP), continue to call for early elections.
At the same time, polling companies are continuing to publish the results of their latest election surveys. ALF Research conducted its latest study face-to-face with 2,017 participants between May 1 and 4, 2025.
Participants were asked: “If a general election were held this Sunday, which party would you vote for?”
32.1% of respondents answered “CHP,” while 29.7% said “AKP.”

KONDA Poll: One in Four Participated in CHP Boycott
Konda Research has released the results of a new survey, which reveals that one in four citizens joined the “April 2 Boycott” initiated by the CHP.
According to a report by Elips Haber, following the arrest of CHP’s presidential candidate and Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, the party called for a boycott. The boycott, started at the request of university students, spread widely through social media.
Konda Research shared the findings of a poll related to the “non-purchase” movement organized on April 2.
