Erdoğan: ‘Terror-Free Türkiye’ Will Elevate Economy and National Unity

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, speaking at the TOBB Service Recognition Plaque Ceremony in Ankara, emphasized the transformative vision behind the “Terror-free Türkiye” initiative, which he said aims to eliminate the long-standing security threats that have hindered the country’s economic growth, national peace, and development.
“With great patience, determination, and sincerity, we are removing yet another obstacle in front of our nation’s peace and prosperity,” Erdoğan said. “A ‘terror-free Türkiye’ will inshallah take our economy to new heights.”
Defense Industry: From Denial to Demand
Highlighting Türkiye’s rise in the global defense sector, Erdoğan noted that the country now ranks among the top three globally in UAV technology, a dramatic turnaround from past decades when Ankara was denied access to unmanned systems.
“Now we’re a nation others come to for procurement,” Erdoğan said, citing the HÜRJET Jet Trainer as the next milestone. A memorandum of understanding was signed in Spain just yesterday, he added, marking a key step forward for the country’s domestic aviation capabilities.
Türkiye’s Uncompromising National Principles
Erdoğan reaffirmed the indivisible unity of the Republic, emphasizing that territorial integrity, the national flag, language, and the unitary state structure are non-negotiable pillars of Turkish identity.
“Our state has never and will never kneel before any power,” he said. “For 40 years, we’ve paid a high price—but today, we have forged a path forward.”
He reiterated the core national values under the slogan:
“One nation, one flag, one homeland, one state.”
Economic Promise Tied to Stability
Erdoğan assured citizens that state institutions and their teams are strategically aligned in driving national progress. He stressed that security is the foundation of economic advancement, and that ending terrorism is not just a political objective, but a catalyst for economic transformation.
“Rest assured, a terror-free Türkiye will not only ensure peace but will also unlock our full economic potential,” Erdoğan said.
