Erdoğan Condemns Pakistan Bombing, Offers Solidarity Against Terrorism

Erdoğan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has condemned the recent deadly bombing in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, expressing his condolences to the people and government of Pakistan. In a written statement shared on social media, Erdoğan reaffirmed Turkey’s support in the fight against terrorism.

“Turkey Will Stand with Pakistan in Difficult Times”

“I extend my condolences to the brotherly people and government of Pakistan,” Erdoğan said.
“May Allah have mercy on the Pakistani brothers who lost their lives in the attack. I wish a swift recovery to the wounded.”

He added that Turkey remains committed to supporting Pakistan in its ongoing counterterrorism efforts, promising to stand by the country not only in joyous occasions, but also in times of hardship.

What Happened in Pakistan?

On the Afghan border, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province was rocked by a deadly bombing on Friday. According to initial reports, 13 Pakistani soldiers were killed, and at least 24 people, including civilians, were injured.

Pakistan’s military media wing, ISPR, claimed that the attack was planned by India and carried out by the Pakistani Taliban (TTP). It also reported that 14 militants were neutralized in the ensuing gunfight.

“Pakistan is determined to eliminate Indian-backed terrorism from its soil,” the ISPR said.

India Rejects Pakistan’s Accusations

India’s Ministry of External Affairs strongly denied the allegations, calling Pakistan’s claims baseless and unacceptable.

“The Pakistan military’s attempt to blame India for the attack is categorically rejected,” India said in an official response.

The bombing adds to growing tensions between Pakistan and India, with both countries continuing to trade accusations over cross-border militancy and internal instability. As Pakistan faces mounting security challenges, international responses like Turkey’s highlight the country’s regional significance and enduring strategic partnerships.
