Borsa İstanbul Opens Higher Despite Global Holiday

Borsa Istanbul (BIST) started the last trading day of the week with modest gains, even as global markets remain closed due to the Easter holiday.

Opening Snapshot:

• BIST 100 Index opened with a 0.32% rise at 9,426 points.

• 356 stocks gained, while 83 declined at market open.

However, as of mid-session, the index slightly reversed course:

• Trading now at 9,392 points, down 0.05% intraday.

• Euro (EUR/TRY): 43.5197 TL
