BDDK Grants Operating License to Aytemiz Investment Bank, Approves Establishment of Halk Participation Bank

The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) has officially granted Aytemiz Investment Bank AŞ an operating license and approved the establishment of Halk Participation Bank AŞ, according to decisions published in the Official Gazette.
Aytemiz Investment Bank Now Fully Licensed
Aytemiz Yatırım Bankası AŞ, which had previously been granted initial approval on May 23, 2024, has now received a full operational license, clearing the way for the bank to officially begin its activities in Türkiye’s financial markets.
Halk Participation Bank to Launch with ₺11.5 Billion Capital
In a separate decision, the BDDK also approved the formation of a new participation bank—Halk Katılım Bankası AŞ—backed by a consortium of Halkbank Group subsidiaries.
