The prosecution announced that suspects connected to former İBB spokesperson Murat Ongun and fugitive Emrah Bağdatlı had been identified as being involved in fraudulent activities within İBB subsidiaries, including Medya A.Ş. and Kültür A.Ş.

A total of 35 suspects allegedly tied to corruption schemes and 9 individuals accused of managing the social media network of the group were targeted.

Of the detainees, 20 people were referred with a request for arrest, while 24 others were placed under judicial control measures pending investigation.

The list of names released includes politicians, former municipal executives, and business associates, underlining the wide scope of the corruption probe.
