This led the club to consider abandoning the Süper Lig, where they share the top spot with Galatasaray. However, after a meeting with officials and members, they chose to continue. Subsequently, “The Canaries” expressed their dissatisfaction with playing the Super Cup just four days before their Conference League playoff against Olympiacos, which ultimately led to the abandonment of the match due to the “injustices experienced.”
