Turkish Opposition is Marching to Power | Real Turkey

President Erdogan has become even more erratic and unpredictable of late. He may be suffering from early dementia. Or, he may be in a panic, because an opposition alliance is stealing the march from him.

  • Erdogan’s bizarre economic theories and his futile effort to “Islamize” the nation is causing voter protests.

 

  • The opposition is led by CHP leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu and has a razor-sharp focus on economic problems.

 

  • Early elections are a strong possibility.

 

  • Western observers and a strong minority of Turkish commentators fear Erdogan attempting to postpone, cancel or steal elections.

 

  • He doesn’t have the stamina or the institutional support to pull off such a feat!
