12 polls show Kilicdaroglu ahead of Erdogan in the presidential race

Just days before the Presidential elections on May 14, 2023, 12 research companies published the results of the survey. According to the data, Erdogan is experiencing a first in the last 21 years, lagging behind Kilicdaroglu in all polls.

Poll companies continue to publish the latest opinion polls regarding the presidential elections to be held on May 14, reports Euronews Turkey.

According to the poll conducted by Gezici on April 1-2, Kemal Kilicdaroglu receives 53.4 percent of the vote, while Recep Tayyip Erdogan remains at 43.2 percent. Protest candidate Muharrem Ince 2.1 percent; while nationalist Sinan Ogan gets 1.3 percent of the vote. If the election goes to the second round, Kilicdaroglu gets 55.2 percent of the vote, with Erdogan at 44.8%.

According to the survey of Metropoll in April, Kilicdaroglu is at 42.6 percent; while Erdogan only garners 41.1 percent of the vote. In this poll, İnce’s vote is 5 percent; Ogan’s vote is 2.2 percent.

According to the data compiled by Euronews Turkish, according to the latest survey data of 12 research companies, the predicted outcome of the Presidential election will be as follows: (Table in Turkish)

Mehmet Ali Kulat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of MAK Consulting, shared the results of their latest research in the Habertürk publication. Accordingly, Kilicdaroglu 47 percent; Erdogan, on the other hand, gets 42 percent of the vote. The votes of “others”, including Muharrem İnce, are 3. percent, and the rate of undecided voters is 8. percent. Kulat reported that undecided voters are mostly HDP voters.
