Today, as most of the Turkish media, we have reported that in a “sealed file” case Alatçi Holding is under investigation for financial misdemenars. “Sealed file” in this context means, the defendant isn’t informed about the investigation until it mautres to indictment stage. Most of the evidence is sealed.
As a result, PA Turkey has not and will not make any accusations about Ahlatçı Holding, or any person or corporate entity until declared innocenet or guilty in a court of law. In line with our committment to unbiased and ethical journalism, we share with our readers a press bulletin issued by Ahlatçı Holding:
It has come to our attention that certain allegations concerning Ahlatcı Holding and its executives have been circulated in the public domain, particularly through social media platforms. These claims, which reference alleged money laundering and smuggling investigations, are entirely unfounded and bear no connection whatsoever to Ahlatcı Holding or to its Chairman of the Board, Mr. Ahmet Ahlatcı.
We categorically and unequivocally reject these assertions. The allegations lack any factual basis and do not reflect the truth.
Since its establishment, Ahlatcı Holding has conducted all of its operations in full compliance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Türkiye, applicable international trade rules, and relevant sectoral regulatory frameworks. Our corporate governance structure is built upon
