Turkey’s Ministry of National Defense (MSB) has issued a closely watched statement on the renewed violence in Aleppo, underlining Ankara’s readiness to support Syria if formally requested within the framework of counterterrorism. The declaration comes amid clashes that erupted following the suspension of an integration process between the Damascus administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDG), a development that has heightened security concerns across northern Syria and along Turkey’s borders.
