As drug use proliferates among Gen Z and in the slums of large cities, Turkish criminal gangs have established JVs with global drug cartles to supply the country, Europe and Middles East with vast quantities of narcotics. The dollar value of the trade could be as high as $40/per annum, or ca 2.5 of GDP.
