Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a strong statement on Monday condemning Israel’s renewed attacks on the Gaza Strip, describing them as a “clear violation of the ceasefire.”

“We Are Deeply Concerned Over Civilian Deaths”

In its official statement titled “On Israel’s Attacks Against the Gaza Strip,” the ministry expressed grave concern over reports of civilian casualties:

“Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip constitute a clear breach of the ceasefire.
We are deeply concerned by reports indicating that civilians have lost their lives as a result of these assaults.”

The ministry emphasized that full adherence to the ceasefire is essential for preserving hopes of lasting peace and ensuring regional stability, urging Israel to “refrain from actions that undermine peace and security.”

“Turkey Will Continue to Stand with the Palestinian People”

Reaffirming Ankara’s longstanding stance on the Palestinian issue, the statement concluded:

“Turkey will continue to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and will support efforts to achieve a just, lasting, and comprehensive peace in the region.”
