According to the We Will Stop Femicides Platform (KCDP), 31 women were murdered and 30 more were found dead under suspicious conditions in Turkey in July 2025, exposing the persistent and deadly scale of gender-based violence.
Domestic Spaces Remain the Epicenter of Violence
The KCDP’s latest report reveals that 74% of femicides occurred inside victims’ homes. Among the 31 confirmed femicide victims:

11 were killed for rejecting a relationship or divorce

Most Killers Were Known to the Victims
In a chilling breakdown of perpetrators:
